Local Councillors, Gary Malcolm, Andrew Steed and Harvey Rose in liaison with local residents who want the Piccadilly Line to stop at Turnham Green, hope that TFL do not turn down the "loud voice" of Chiswick residents.

The final chance for people to have their say is by midnight today (Monday, October 7) and the link to the survey is below.

The local Liberal Democrat team have informed residents by:

  • Delivering a special leaflet to most of Southfield
  • Delivered a letter to remind residents to fill in the TFL survey
  • Contacted local groups so they can link into their contacts
  • Liaised with residents in advice sessions about the TFL consultation
  • Set up blog posts when the consultation was launched and a blog post including a “how to” guide about the consultation
  • Used Twitter and Facebook to promote the TFL consultation

Southfield Councillor Andrew Steed said: “The residents of Chiswick in their thousands want the Piccadilly Line to stop at Turnham Green. It will massively speed up the time to get people to and from work, as well as encouraging more non Chiswick residents to visit Chiswick socially. Transport for London should not ignore the loud voice of Chiswick residents.”

TfL’s online survey can be filled out here: https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/tube/piccadillyline/consultation/intro/view
