Over one hundred Scottish Dancers from as far apart as London, Paris and Glasgow will get together on Sunday 24th March at St Benedict’s School Ealing, to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

At a grand ticket only Scottish Ball there will be music from the Nicol McLaren and the Glencraig Scottish Dance Band who are travelling from Scotland for the occasion.

Chiswick Scottish is an affiliated member of the Society and boasts a thriving friendly club in Turnham Green. Chairman Nick Haimendorf says “We are especially looking forward to this special Spring Ball and welcoming dancers and musicians from near and far. What marks the club out is its friendliness and encouragement to the newcomer of whatever age or ability. Our aim is to have fun and promote the enjoyment of Scottish Dancing.”

Chiswick Scottish Country Dance Club restarts its beginners class on 7th April at St Michael’s Church Hall, with a free taster session for newcomers. For more information
