A Chiswick-based holiday club aims to offer an activity that promotes a healthy body and mind. The Skateboarding Club was organised because of the natural exercise and discipline that is neede for skateboarding. The idea was to give children a mental and physical challenge.

The three sessions at the club cost £40, and they will pick the children up from a central meeting point in Chiswick, and take them to the skate-park in Westbourne Park, where fully qualified instructors spend the day teaching them basic skills such as balance and maneuvering. They stay with them the whole day to ensure they are having fun and bring them back to Chiswick late afternoon.

The club will run over the latter weeks of the summer holidays (15th, 22nd or 29th August). It is open to both boys and girls and although it has from 7-years old, they are accepting from children from six years old. They have skateboards and helmets to anyone who hasn't got one.
