Strand on the Green Association is holding its Summer Festival along Strand on the Green footpath this Saturday afternoon 5 July from 2:00 until 6:00p.m.

There will be stalls, all kinds of live music, magicians, tombolas, face painting, Punch & Judy and a photo competition for everyone to take part and many others.

River activities including water boarding and kayak training and a duck race with the RNLI alongside. Launch trips will be available from Kew Pier. In the Recreation Area on Thames Road Brentford Football Club are providing an inflatable pitch along with training coaches and football competitions for children.

Kew Steam Museum will also be exhibiting a steam engine the Fire Brigade will have one of their appliances and the police will be carrying out a bicycle identification program. Come and enjoy an afternoon of Summer Festivities along the River.
