Cyclist Seriously Hurt at Sutton Court Road

A4 currently closed from Hogarth Roundabout

A cyclist has suffered serious injuries after a collision at the junction of Sutton Court Road and the A4.

The 69 year old man is reported to have been hit by a car at some time just before 2.30pm this afternoon.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service, said: "A 69-year-old man with head injuries was taken as a priority to the major trauma centre at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington."

The A4 is currently closed between the Hogarth Roundabout and the Sutton Court Road junction.

Traffic is reported to be severe both eastbound and westbound with congestion on Chiswick High Road

Buses are now being put on diversion.
