The origins of the House, its owners and occupants
A richly illustrated 48-page book about Hogarth’s House and its past residents has been published by Scala Books with Hounslow Community Services. Val Bott, the Trust’s chairman, has compiled the book, using the research she undertook for the new displays at the House. Val will be talking about the book on 15 September in a local history session, as part of the 2012 Chiswick Book Festival at 11.45 in the Tabard Theatre. The book is on sale at the House at £6.95 and will also be available at Waterstone’s festival bookstall at St Michael & All Angels, Bedford Park.
