This year's event on Thursday includes a street market
The annual Christmas Lights switch on will take place in Chiswick on Thursday 26 November at 5 pm-6 pm. This year there will be something new on offer with a Christmas food and craft market, 12-9pm. This will be held in the car park outside the George IV pub. Pic- Ian Wylie from 2014 The switching-on ceremony takes place outside the George IV pub, Chiswick High Road with carol singing from 5 pm from the children of St Mary's primary, and a special appearance from Fuller’s very own dray horses, Pride and Griffin. Fuller’s dray horses will be present from 5pm-7pm. Lights will be switched on from 5pm, the timing is not exact! The Christmas light switch on will be led by Councillor Paul Lynch, along with Fred Turner, Fuller’s Head of Tenanted Operations. Pic-Ian Wylie of 2014 event This year, there will also be the added attraction of the Christmas market with a wide variety of stalls from EatChiswick and The Chiswick Collective. From EatChiswick, there will be tasty offerings from The Cabin Grill ( pork sliders and cocktails), Cakehole London, the Coffee Traveller, Biltong & Cravings, Boxed Fresh (jerk chicken) and Quirky Bars (mulled wine) Others taking part include Wyndhams (burgers), Pho restaurant, Pink Cactus (Mexican street food), Le Swine (bacon butties) From Chiswick Collective, there will be a number of small independent local businesses offering a wide selection of gifts for all the family. Stalls will be open from 12pm till late, around 9pm. The Christmas market is sure to provide a fun, festive opportunity to shop and eat local this Christmas. November 24, 2015 ![]()
