Luke Graham applauds hardworking players

In his last preseason briefing before next Saturday’s opening league match Old Meadonians’ new manager, Luke Graham, seconded by walking wounded centre back, Ali McCombe, applauded his hard working players for providing a positive platform for the imminent campaign with four games won, one drawn and one lost by an odd penalty of their six friendlies.

He espoused the Meads’ main tenets of solidity in defence with pace underpinning attacking options and reminded friend and foe that there were six further squad members recouperating from long term injuries.
