Local estate agent kicks off fundraising with 'Pink Friday'

The female team members from Orchards of London are thrilled to be taking part in a 5K run for Race for Life 2014 in Hyde Park this July 27th 2014 for the second year running.

The ladies have set a phenomenal fundraising target of £1,500 – which they are hoping to achieve and beat! For the first week of fundraising, they kicked it off with ‘Pink Friday’ where team members have been encouraged to wear pink and donate money to Cancer Research UK.

Sarah Metcalf, Senior Photographer at Orchards of London says: “Last year we raised £681.62 for Cancer Research UK and we are hoping to raise £1,500 this year as we have fifteen female team members taking part! The whole company has been incredibly supportive to the cause and I’m looking forward to the next seven weeks of fundraising ahead!”

Danielle Davern, Ealing Lettings Manager says: “This is the second year we have taken part in Race for Life and it is incredible to see more team members fundraising to beat cancer, and raising awareness for the cause. Not only does it bring the team members together; it brings us together as a community in the bid to beat cancer sooner.”
