Pokémon, the video game and playing card company, is to take up residence in the Chiswick Park office development.

According to a report in property week magazine the company has signed a 10-year lease with a five year break at £43/sq ft on 10,000 sq ft of space for its UK headquarters.

The deal completed was completed today (6th September). Frost Meadowcroft advised Pokémon; CBRE and Savills advised Blackstone who are the owners of the development.

Pokémon started as a Game Boy role-playing game conceived by Japan's Nintendo group and developed into an international craze with associated playing cards and toys. It is the second most lucrative video game based media franchise in the world behind Super Mario which is also owned by Nintendo. Over 200 million copies of Pokémon video games have been sold.

The Pokémon Company International, a subsidiary of Japan's Pokémon Co., now oversees all Pokémon licensing outside of Asia.
