Prices and volumes did sharply during the month

October saw a reversal of the recent strong performance of the local property market with both prices and turnover falling.
The average price paid for a home in the W4 post code area according to the Land Registry was £830,805 well down on the levels seen during the third quarter when the average reached new record levels over the million mark.
Only 47 homes changed hand during the month with 16 of those priced at one million pounds or above.
The highest priced sale during the month was a relatively modest £1,750,000 paid for a house on Grove Park Terrace.
