Local MP helps arrange tidy-up operation in Acton Lane

After a year long campaign, initiated by complaints from local residents, local MP Angie Bray has finally managed to organise a joint operation between Network Rail and Ealing Council to clean up the graffiti-laden bridge over Acton Lane.

Angie said:

“At long last we have a smart looking bridge over Acton Lane. For far too long residents have had to put up with a real eyesore. It has taken us over a year to get it repainted, and really, that is far too long. In my experience, the longer you leave graffiti untouched, the more you get of it. The lesson for us all is to deal with it as soon as possible.”
