Police manage to prevent suicide attempt early this morning
A man has been talked down after initially threatening to jump onto the tracks near Chiswick Mainline station from Grove Park Bridge at around 7am this morning. There was a short stand off before he agreed to come down at around 8.15am. The incident has caused severe delays to trains in the area and traffic jams on surrounding roads. After being talked down by police, the man was taken to Lakeside Mental Health Unit at West Middlesex Hospital, in order to be assessed.
