Nominate Your Ealing Council Hero | |||||
Complaints aside - it's time for bouquets
Have you received excellent service from a member of Ealing Council staff? Now is your chance to shine the spotlight on those very good - above and beyond employees - and nominate him or her for a Residents’ Choice employee award. In a bid to encourage entries, everyone who makes a nomination will be entered into a free prize draw and could win a £100 shopping voucher. The Residents’ Choice award recognises outstanding service by employees whether they are social workers, teachers, leisure staff or planning officers. Martin Smith, Chief Executive of Ealing Council said: “It’s always heartening when residents write to tell us when an employee has delivered exceptional service in their work for the community. This award for an ‘unsung hero’ is a chance to give a ‘pat on the back’ and recognise their endeavours.” Nominations must be made by explaining in more than 150 but less than 300 words, why the person or team deserves to win. The closing date for nominations is 9am on Thursday, 31 May. Nominations can be made here or paper copies of nomination forms are available by calling customer services on 020 8825 6000. All nominations will be judged by a cross party panel of councillors along with senior council officers and the winner will be announced in June.
