The Brentford and Chiswick Local History Society

The Brentford and Chiswick Local History Society are hosting and event on Monday 17 March 2014, 7.30pm at the Chiswick Memorial Club, Bourne Place, London W4

There will be an illustrated talk by John Grigg, labour historian. John’s detailed study of local newspapers has uncovered considerable detail of the story of women’s campaign for the vote in our area.

The Society's talks usually take place on the third Monday of the month. They meet at the Chiswick Memorial Club, Afton House, Bourne Place, Chiswick W4, starting at 7.30pm. Remember that Afton House does not open until 7pm.
