Anne Frank’s step-sister will be a guest speaker at this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day event on Wednesday, 29 January. 

Eva Schloss, a Holocaust survivor, will speak at the event hosted by the Mayor Councillor Sachin Gupta. 

Cllr Gupta, said: “It’s vital we all mark Holocaust Day and remember the millions who were murdered and never forget how man can slip into savagery and lose his humanity.” 

The event which takes place from 10.30am, will be held in the Lampton Park Conference Centre at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow.  

It will also feature pupils from Gunnersbury School and Brentford School for Girls. 

Cllr Gupta added: “I am particularly glad to welcome Eva Schloss whose own experiences will be able to give valuable insight into the horror of the Holocaust.”
