According to the UK Met Office, the UK is ‘odds on for a BBQ summer’, and office workers at Chiswick Business Park, are gearing up for a scorcher as the 2009 Enjoy-Work Summer Events programme is unveiled.

Every Friday lunchtime throughout the Summer, staff from a wide range of high profile companies, including Discovery, Starbucks and Paramount will be taking part in a host of extraordinary activities, organised by Chiswick Park’s Enjoy-Work team on the Events Plaza. In the current economic climate, the team at Chiswick Park are going to extreme lengths to ensure that its guests have a summer to remember and the opportunity to obtain new skills.

There is, of course, a serious side to these events, which have been organised as part of Chiswick Park’s Enjoy-Work programme, which aims to help employees achieve a healthy work-life balance. All of the activities have been designed to further build the community spirit on the Park and give guests an opportunity to add value to their lives with new skills and experiences. This subscribes to the tried and tested theory that a happy workforce is a more productive workforce.

Pass It On in association with Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food, Wimbledon-inspired ‘Match Point’, London 2012, and ‘Grease’ inspired events will feature as part of the activities on offer this summer, and once again Chiswick Park will be looking to break another Guinness World Record. Can they do it again?

Each event runs between 12 noon and 2.00pm, and is accompanied by live music and a barbecue, giving each activity a carnival atmosphere to get the weekend off to a flying start.
