A seventeen year old girl was the victim of a particularly unpleasant robbery this Sunday 27th February at around 2pm.

She had arranged to meet a friend on Belmont Road but when she didn't appear she walked up the road and turned into Dolman Road by the school. She saw a youth on a bike coming from the direction of the Chiswick Health Centre. He whistled at her and asked her for her phone number and then circled around her a few times.

She took her mobile phone out to call her friend but the suspect mounted the pavement on his bike and grabbed at the phone. There was a brief struggle and the victim's hand was hurt. The suspect then swung his bike into the victim hurting her leg and said, "You are lucky I didn't rape you."

He is described as a white male aged around 17, of a slim build and around 5ft 6' tall. He had ginger hair with very freckled skin and a local accent. He was wearing a three quarter length khaki jacket with a dark woolen hat. The phone stolen was a silver/black Nokia 6230 worth around £300.
