A man has been stabbed on Chiswick High Road in the early hours of Saturday morning (18 May).

The attack took place shortly before 1.24am when police were called to the scene near the junction with Devonshire Road.

At least six police cars attended and officers were seen combing the area.

The victim, who is in his forties, suffered a knife wound to the back and was taken by ambulance to a West London hospital. His injuries are described as not life threatening.

Officers from West Area Command are investigating. No arrests have been made at this stage.
