A man was startled to come face to face with a burglar in his flat on Monday 14th March.

The 65 year old man heard a noise in the hallway of his flat in Kew Bridge Court at 8.30 in the evening. On investigating he saw the suspect, who had climbed in through a bathroom window. When challenged, the suspect fled, taking some Post Office account books.

Police are searching for a white male of around 30 years, 6' wearing a black hoody.
