A car stolen in Chiswick was used in a robbery in Hounslow which netted over £1000.

The silver Audi All-road estate registration X204 OGT was stolen from Oxford Road South overnight on 9/10th March when the keys were removed through the letterbox of the owner's house.

The car was used by suspects in a robbery in Hounslow on Monday 21nd March when over £1000 in cash was taken from a woman on her way to pay in shop takings at a local Post Office. The woman was injured in the robbery and was treated at West Middlesex Hospital for cuts to her face and head.

Police have released the following description of one of the suspects: a black or dark-skinned male, 5' 10" aged 20 - 30, stocky build, short black hair. The stolen Audi has not been recovered and police are interested in its whereabouts.
