A 17 year old student was assaulted whilst walking on Stamford Brook Common on Saturday 22nd October at around 7.45pm. He was approached by another male who demanded his Ipod and then head butted him and punched him repeatedly, causing the contact lenses to fall out of his eyes.

The suspect then ran off, dropping the Ipod and his baseball cap, which police are examining for any traces off DNA. The victim was examined by a police doctor at Chiswick Police Station but did not need hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as a black male around 18 years old, 6'2" tall with a diamond stud earring. He was with two women, both black, one wearing a blue tracksuit.
