On Tuesday 4th April 2006 just after 9.00am, a robbery took place in Edensor Gardens.

The victim was a 24 year old lady who suffers from
severe arthritis.  As she slowly got out of a car being driven by her mother, a youth on a bicycle went past, pushed over and grabbed her bag from her hand before he rode off down Edensor Road towards the A316.

The victim was badly shaken and had to be taken to Charing Cross Hospital. Her arthritis is very bad and she is temporarily on crutches after this incident.


Property stolen was a black leather bag containing a purse, cash and correspondence (amount withheld).


The suspect was described as a white male, late teens, wearing a black hoody and blue jeans, riding a black bicycle with silver bits on it.
