A woman was punched and then robbed in a Chiswick subway on Wednesday 16th August at 2120. The incident took place in the underpass between Chiswick Lane to Chiswick Lane South at the Hogarth Roundabout. The victim was a 31 year old white lady.

She was walking down the slope of the subway when she was confronted by the suspect who without warning punched her in the face and took her bag she was carrying. She was astonished by this and the suspect punched her in the face again and ran off along the footpath of the A4 towards Hammersmith.

The victim suffered minor facial injuries which did not require medical attention at the time.

The suspect was a light skinned mixed race male, about 6’02”, with short receding black hair, wearing dark jeans and multiple dark T-shirts.

Property taken was a pull string bag containing a mobile phone, sunglasses, cosmetics, keys etc. Value about £700.
