Police are appealing for witnesses following a street robbery on Chiswick Common (close to Turnham Green Terrace), at 10.35 on Tuesday 22nd August 2006.

The victim, a 26 year old white lady, had walked along Fishers Lane and was crossing the Common towards Turnham Green Tube whilst talking on her mobile phone.

As she neared the 5-a-side football pitches, the suspect approached her from behind on a bike and snatched the phone causing bruising to the victim’s cheek. The suspect then cycled off veering across the Common and down Elliott Road with the Nokia phone valued at around £50.


The suspect was described as a white male, about 15 years old, skinny build, grade 2 cropped hair with very pale skin.

He was wearing a shiny white anorak, dark tracksuit bottoms, red baseball cap with white adjusting poppers on the back.
