Gang Steal Schoolboy’s Bike From Under Him

Police seek teenage suspects for Burlington Lane robbery

A 14 year old school boy was told "10 seconds to get off the bike or I will hit you” by a teenage suspect as he headed home along Burlington Lane.

The incident happened close to Chiswick Mainline Station on Friday 25th May.

The victim was approached by a group of black males one of whom placed his hand on the victim’s shoulder and said, “Get off the bike”.

At first the victim refused until another suspect, a very tall black man, approached the victim and said "10 seconds to get off the bike or I will hit you.”

At this point the victim felt frightened and was worried that the suspect might have a knife and reluctantly gave his bike to the suspect who pushed it away. Another member of the group got on the bike and rode away towards Chiswick Mainline station and away towards the High Road.

The victim gave a description of the tall suspect as being a black male aged around 16 years and 6’3”.
