Chiswick Police have warned of a recent rise in residential burglaries.

Whilst such offences occur at all hours, recent reported incidents indicate a peak at 12:00, 19:00-23:00, and 04:00.

Entry is usually gained via open ground floor windows or forcing doors of semi detached houses and flats.

The most targeted property is cash and jewellery.
