A 90 year old woman has had her wedding ring pulled from her finger after she woke to find a man in her bedroom.

The incident happened in Strand-on-the-Green on Thursday 27th September. The victim awoke at approximately 8.00am to discover the male suspect in her room.

She asked the man to leave but he began to look around her bedroom, pulling all the draws open and searching inside them. He then pulled the victim's wedding ring off her finger, causing swelling and bruising.

The victim managed to get out of bed and push the suspect out of her room.

She is understandably confused about the incident and is not sure whether there were one or two suspects. However, the suspect she saw she described as a white male, 6'0", 30 years old with cropped light brown hair and spoke English.

Witness/Information will be treated in confidence at Hounslow CID 0208 247 6160/5940 or anonymously on Crime Stoppers 0800 555111.
