Chiswick resident and forum regular Maria Barr is asking for the community's help with finding her stolen engagement ring.

The striking antique 13ct aquamarine set on rose gold with diamonds in platinum was stolen during a burglary at her Devonshire Road home last week.

"The police have been extremely helpful in conducting local searches with jewellers but say it is just as likely to be offered for sale to a member of the general public," Maria told ChiswickW4.com.

"I have no other opportunity of asking for help in such a widespread manner."

If anyone has any information about the ring or is offered it for sale, Maria is asking that you get in contact with her via the editor@chiswickw4.com email address or contact Chiswick Police quoting crime report number : 0519972/10
