Following last week's knife point robbery at a Chiswick underpass there have been further incidents involving bladed weapons. On Friday 10th December at 1am a 47 year old man was walking along Cranbrook Road when he was approached by a man who produced a knife. The potential victim ran and succeeded in getting away. The suspect is described as a black male in his early twenties, of a slim build and height 5ft 1'.

There was also a stabbing incident out side a Chiswick pub this week in which two men were taken to hospital on of them suffering from wounds inflicted by a knife. Arrests have already been made in this case.

On Sunday 12 December at around one o'clock in the afternoon a young woman had her purse stolen at Zizzi's restaurant on Chiswick High Road. She had placed her bag on the floor, the purse was removed from the bag. Lost around £90 in cash plus bank cards.

The same day at 9.30 in the evening the 57 year old owner of a shop on Wellesley Road was approached by a man who entered the shop and demanded money. The shop owner was then punched in the head by the man, who left the shop with the till. The till was recovered in Alliance Rd Acton the following morning - around £100 had been stolen.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 ft 1, about 30, clean shaven wearing a hooded top and blue jeans. He made off in a silver BMW.
