Ken can organise drink up in brewery

The Mayor pays a visit to Fuller's and samples a pint of Pride

Michael Turner, Ken Livingstone, John Keeling and Tim Turner

As part of the Mayor of London's promise to visit all of the London Borough's, Ken Livingstone and members of the Greater London Authority visited Fuller's brewery in Chiswick on Thursday 19 June, 2003.

Mayor Livingstone and his party was taken on a brewery tour by Fuller's Chief Executive, Michael Turner, Commercial Director, Tim Turner and Brewing Director, John Keeling.

The Mayor and party greeted the workers along the route and Ken Livingstone even helped out on parts of the brewing process. He did such a good job on the racking line, filling casks with delicious London Pride, that the boys on the line were able to take a break while the Mayor stepped in, under the watchful guidance of John Keeling.

Once the tour was finished, the Mayor and party were taken to the brewery's Hock Cellar to meet the director's and Ken pulled himself and the director's a pint of London Pride.
