An application to renovate the former Job Centre on Chiswick High Road have been submitted to Hounslow Council.

The plans include the change of use of ground floor to A1 retail, a single storey rear extension to proposed ground floor retail unit and change of use of first and second floors from offices to residential to create two one-bedroom and six two-bedroom flats.

The proposal includes upgrading the elevations to improve the appearance and match the residential use.

The building has been vacant for some time. It is thought that if renovated, it would prove a more attractive proposition for both retailers and home buyers.
