A Chiswick Councillor is asking for urgent measures to be taken about the build up of leaves on local pavements.

John Todd said, "I was alerted by a pensioner attending the pensioners alone for Christmas lunch of how difficult she found walking on pavements where wet and slippery leaves have not been cleared. I have asked London Borough of Hounslow to to remove them as soon as possible."

Cllr. Todd has sent us a number of photos of areas where the need for leaf clearance is particularly acute around Beverly Road and Fraser Street.
