Transport for London has advised that National Grid will be undertaking emergency works this evening, Wednesday 4th November, to repair a broken gas main that is on the circulatory carriageway of the A4 Hogarth Roundabout.

The works will be commence at 8.00pm and continue through the night. They should be completed before the morning build-up of traffic.

The main excavation will be on the south-west side of the roundabout and will require this section to be reduced to just one traffic lane.

In addition, there will be lane restrictions on all approaches.

Extensive delays are expected, particularly for westbound traffic approaching from the Hammersmith direction. Drivers are urged to avoid the junction if at all possible.
