Dear Residents,

It’s been a while since my last blog but I just wanted to let you know of recent changes. The style of policing is changing across London as we work smarter and more efficiently. Part of this new approach is to ensure police officers are more approachable and visible in their local areas.

Chiswick Police station front office is closing on 14 December but I have planned a number of drop in surgeries in Chiswick which will allow local residents to discuss/report crime or anti- social behaviour. Of course, you can report crime at www.met.police.uk

I have been busy organising all the Remembrance services across the Borough and visiting faith groups on calendar events such as Diwali.

Over the coming weeks I will be at the following locations :

Sainsbury’s Essex Place- Fridays between 12-2pm
Chiswick Medical Centre- Fishers Lane- Wednesdays between 12-2pm
Chiswick Post Office, Heathfield Terrace- Mondays 12-2pm

The local Dedicated Ward Officers will also be seen more frequently in Starbucks and Costa in Chiswick High Road “Cuppa with a coppa“.

On a more festive note I have launched Hounslow Borough’s Christmas Tree Appeal this week. We are hoping to give children who are in local authority care a wonderful Christmas this year with presents and if possible pay for a Christmas lunch for some of our more vulnerable, elderly residents. You can give donations online.
