Over 1,000 people attend event at Chiswick Business Park

Operation speedboat, one of the main events in the Enjoy Summer event series at Chiswick Business Park attracted over 1,000 people over the two events held on Friday 1st and Friday 8th August.

The first day saw 40 teams from a range of companies based at the office development take part in the heats which involved each member of the team steering their speedboat around a course on the lake in an attempt to achieve the fastest time. The event was supported by an audience of over 300 guests.

Last Friday (8th August) saw the winners from the previous weeks heats take their places in the semi finals and finals of Operation Speedboat. The event series will run every Friday (between 12.00pm-2.00pm) until the end of September and are open both to guests based on the park and to local residents and businesses. The next event (taking place on Friday 15th August) will feature a David Leadbetter Golf Academy – a day of individual and team golfing activities testing skill and also a mini golf course on which to put your new found skills into practice.
