Dine for free in Chiswick's finest restaurants

Over 40 Chiswick restaurants have so far signed up to take part in this year’s Win A Meal Tombola, as part of the Bedford Park Festival

They’ve each offered a free meal for two as prizes in the annual tombola, which is sponsored by ChiswickW4.com. The money raised will go to the St Mary’s Convent and Nursing Home Appeal.

If your favourite restaurant isn’t listed tell them to contact ChiswickW4.com and they will be added them to the list when they sign up.

The event begins next weekend as part of the Green Days Fete on Acton Green, opposite Turnham Green tube station. "We are very grateful to all the restaurants who are taking part, and to ChiswickW4.com for their help in organising the event" said Father Kevin Morris, vicar of St Michael & All Angels church, which runs the Festival.

To take part, players simply pick one or more squares on the Win-a-Meal tablecloth display on the Green, pay a pound per square and write down their name and phone number. Almost 40 of the squares (so far) entitle the purchaser to a meal for two (up to a value nominated by the restaurant). These will be pre-selected by draw and the results deposited in a safe.

When all the squares have been sold (or the Festival ends) the lucky squares and prizewinners will be revealed.

The results will be displayed in St Michael's Parish Hall and on ChiswickW4.com.

The Chiswick restaurants taking part so far are:
Pissarro’s on the River, Annapurna, Ask, Bedlington Café, Bush Bar & Grill, Café Med (Goldhawk Road), Café Piccolo (Chiswick High Road), Café Rouge (Chiswick High Road), Café Rouge (Strand on the Green), Caffe Uno, Chiswick Village Taverna, Chris’s Fish Bar, Cibo@theNet, Coyote Cafe, Crown & Anchor, Devonshire House, Esporta, Est Est Est, FishWorks (Turnham Green Terrace), Fouberts, Gravy, Indigo Deli Café, Kleftiko, La Mirage, L’Amandine, Maison Blanc, McDonalds, Papa Peppe, Plum Duff, Pug, Riso, Silks & Spice, Southeys, Taj, Texas Lone Star, The Bollo House, The Copper Kettle, The Pilot, The Swan, The Tabard, Tiffin Box Tiger Lee, Trinity’s Café, Turnham Green Café, Turnham Green Chinese.

Fish Hoek restaurant will be running an oyster stall at the Festival

If any of these restaurants are among your favourites you can vote for them in an on-line restaurant poll. It is perhaps not coincidental that many of the restaurants who have been so generous are also Chiswick's most popular according to the results of the poll. For details of all the local restaurants in the area see this site's eating out guide.
