Old Meadonians

Local football club Old Meadonians have come up with a novel idea to raise money - pig racing.

Proceeds from the event will be going towards the clubs plans to introduce a youth football section

The event will take place on Saturday 28th February at The Riverside Club, Burlington Lane Chiswick W4. Commencing 5.30pm admission will be free. If you are concerned about animal rights or the smell of the pigs don't worry as the races are will be shown on video. Originally the intention was to race battery operated pigs but these were stolen. Police are anxious to speak to Hamburglar about the theft.

Local TV celeb Richard Bacon probably won't be hosting the event and rumours that soccer stars such as Ryan Piggs and the Queens Pork Rangers and West Ham squads will be attending are almost definitely untrue.

The event will feature live on Sty Sports 2.
