Chiswick estate agents, Bushells has raised a huge £7,000 through sponsorship and company donations on the London Pride Walk in South West London as part of its charitable giving programme.

More than 20 staff members donned bright yellow t-shirts with the Bushells logo to take part in the event, which took place on June 2. It is the 10th year running that Bushells has entered a team.

Ian Stone, Managing Director for Bushells commented, “It is a vital part of the Bushells company ethos to involve ourselves in the communities in which we operate. We are thrilled to be handing over such a large amount of money to Cancer Research – the most we have ever raised”.

The walk, which starts at the Chiswick Brewery is five miles along the riverside at Chiswick, Sheen, Barnes and Hammersmith and was attended by 650 entrants this year.

The Bushells team raised £3,500 through Sponsorship and the management of Bushells matched their donation, bringing it up to the total of £7,000.

Emma Carlisle, Area Volunteer Manager for Cancer Research, said, “It is great to be able to rely on this support from Bushells year after year.

"They have one of the biggest teams in the event and always raise a lot of money, as well as helping us advertise by putting up their boards in the local area”.
