Another Chiswick High Road Accident

Cyclist knocked off bike by car door

A second traffic incident in less than 24 hours has occurred on Chiswick High Road.

Eye witnesses have reported that a female cyclist was knocked from her bike when a car door was opened into the cycle lane.

The woman was taken into hospital but her condition is not known.

Chiswick High Road was closed to vehicles around the junction with Turnham Green Terrace but has since reopened and the area is now clear.

Chiswick High Road was also closed for part of yesterday evening following a collision involving a female pedestrian just after 9.10pm.

The victim was hit by a car near Zizzis restaurant and was taken Charing Cross hospital but her injuries are not life threatening. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
