Police are not treating fatality as suspicious

A person has died after being hit by a train on the tracks at Turnham Green station this Sunday morning (16 November).
British Transport Police says its officers were called to the scene at 10:51am following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
The other emergency services also attended the incident including an air ambulance but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Services were disrupted for several hours but returned to normal later that afternoon.
Calls have continued for a speed limit on Piccadilly line trains passing through Turnham Green station. TfL has not previously commented on whether such a measure is being considered.
