October 4, 2025 The next Chiswick Area Forum is taking place in Bedford Park following its visit to Grove Park last time out. It will convene on Monday 13 October at St Michael and All Angels Church (W4 1LW). The forum, chaired by Chiswick Homefields Councillor Jack Emsley, will begin at 7:30pm and feature a three-part agenda focused on environmental initiatives, transport policy, and public engagement. For an hour prior to the meeting there will be an informal networking event This section will include marketplace style stalls, where residents can speak with Council officers about individual issues, meet and speak to their specific ward Councillors and hear about local community groups and initiatives. The formal meeting agenda includes a presentation from the organisers of the Chiswick Flower Market and then it will address Hounslow Council’s recent decision to end its partnership with Lime, a move that drew national attention after users were left abandoning bikes at borough boundaries. Council officers will be present to explain the rationale and outline future plans for shared mobility in the area. In the open forum section residents will have the opportunity to raise questions and concerns directly with Chiswick’s nine councillors. The Chiswick Area Forum is one of several locality-based meetings run by Hounslow Council to foster community engagement and transparency. Councillor Jack Emsley said, “I’m delighted to be able to bring the area forum to Bedford Park following the huge success of our last meeting in Grove Park. This forum is an important part of our vibrant local democracy, and I look forward to welcoming local residents to hear about, and discuss, a range of important issues including recent changes to e-bikes in the borough and the fantastic new local grant initiative from the Flower Market.” He added, “A huge thanks to our hosts, St Michael and All Angels, for giving us the use of their fantastic venue for this meeting.”
