Raising Event at St. Peter's Church in Black Lion Lane
The much-loved setting of the Passion narrative for choir, organ, soloists and audience by one of Victorian England’s most adventurous composers, sung by St Peter’s Singers, the highly acclaimed West London chamber choir with: Ben Revill
(tenor) The event is in support of HIV/Aids charities. The first, Grandma's, is a self-help group working for children and families mainly in London, but also in Bristol and Dublin. The second, Malawi-Aid, is a fundraising cycle trek-athon organized by Les Pratt, a senior BBC colleague of choir Director Michael Emery. The concert is on Satruday 27th March and starts at 7.30 pm, but doors open for refreshments at 7.00. Tickets £8
