Prices hover around levels seen in first half of the year

Prices have ended the first half of the year lower after hitting record levels earlier in 2015. However, volumes appear to have recovered after a lull during the Spring.
According to the Land Registry there were 75 properties sold during August at an average of £923,088. The average for the second quarter of 2015 was £938,467 up by 4.3% over the year.
There were 22 properties sold in the W4 post code area for over a million pounds during the month the most expensive of which was a house in Flanders Road which changed hands for £3,690,000.
