What Do We Know About Chiswick's New Wholefood Store? |

Naturelia opens in the former Lloyds Bank premises September 14, 2025 A new wholefoods store has opened on Chiswick High Road with little fanfare leading to some mystery about its origins. Naturelia has taken over the former Lloyds Bank site at numbers 308-312 and is offering a range of wholefoods and other organic products. There is no company registered in the UK of this name and staff working at site prior to opening were unable to discuss details of the business. We reached out to the new owners via the company that was the agent for the freeholder, but they never came back to us. A clue as to who was behind the new business was provided by a recruitment ad for the shop which was issued in the name of Cherry Organic Ltd. This company is registered at the same address and its sole director Sebahattin Kemal, a Bulgarian national. He is also the sole director of Organic Passion Ltd, which is based at the same address as the Kew Wholefoods shop on Sandycombe Road. This is a popular business with people living in the area where the consensus is that it offers better value and more convenient opening hours than nearby Oliver’s Wholefoods. Mr Kemal is 31 and has a master's degree in cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology from Birkbeck, University of London. On his LinkedIn profile he says he is motivated by ‘creating positive social change’ and that he has worked previously with adults who are affected by autism. The corner unit which was built in 1903 has a net internal floor area of 2,866 sq ft and it was refurbished at a cost of £420,000 after the departure of the bank. The rateable value of the premises is £163,000.
