On Thursday 28th September 2006 sometime between 13.00 and 16.00 a burglar managed to gain entry to a house on Grosvenor Road

Police detected signs of attempted entry both at front and rear of the property but deemed that entry was finally gained by using a ladder and entering through a fanlight window in an upstairs back bedroom. They believe it is probable that exit was the same way.

The victim, a 53 year old woman reported that jewellery and electrical equipment, was taken and that a value would be ascertained.

Police ask residents to note that security in the house was apparently quite good however; the ladder was left outside and subsequently utilised.

Any information to PC Mark Larson in the Burglary Squad on 020 8247 5940 please.
