Two Stabbings In Two Days

Suspect arrested in Turnham Green Terrace attack but two others remain unidentified

Two separate incidents of knife attacks occurred in Chiswick over the bank holiday weekend.

The first happened on Sunday 4th May just after 5.00pm on Turnham Green Terrace at the junction with Thornton Avenue.

An 18 year old male was assaulted and stabbed in the side of his chest causing a deep puncture wound very close to his lung. He was rushed to hospital by ambulance but has since been discharged.

A 16 year old boy was arrested in connection with the stabbing on Tuesday 6th May on suspicion of 'grievous bodily harm with intent'. He was later released on bail.

The second incident occurred on Monday 5th May opposite the Honda garage on Power Road in which a 29 year old male victim was stabbed in the back by one of two suspects before they fled the scene.

The first suspect was described by the victim as a 20 year old male of Arab appearance with dark curly hair, 5’9” and wearing a black top and black jeans. The description of the second suspect is less clear but he was also a male of Arab appearance, wearing a yellow t-shirt with a sports logo on it.
