Detectives investigating a stabbing at Hammersmith Broadway on Saturday are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Police were called at around 5.45pm on Saturday, 18 July, to a man stabbed inside Hammersmith Broadway shopping centre.

The 22-year old injured man was taken to a central London hospital. Police say his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Hammersmith Broadway was cordoned off following the attack and there was further chaos in the centre of Hammersmith on Saturday as a police car speeding to the scene collided with a 220 bus south of the Broadway at the junction of Talgarth and Fulham Palace Roads.

The officers and bus driver were injured and taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Transport for London say a full investigation has been launched into the collision.
