Two Suspects Sought For Staveley Road Mugging

Victim has wallet stolen after being stopped and restrained

A 28 year old man was restrained and mugged whilst he walked along Staveley Road.

The incident happened on Monday 14th December at 9.00pm as the victim made his way along the residential road in the direction of Burlington Lane.

He was stopped in his tracks by the first suspect who stood directly in front of him whilst a second suspect held the top of both of the victim's arms preventing him from moving.

The first suspect then demanded the victim give them everything he had.

They took his wallet and walked away along Staveley Road in the direction of Sutton Court Road.

The first suspect is described as a white male, 5’11” wearing a black hoody, a dark scarf covering his face and black trousers.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’11”, wearing a dark hoody with a dark scarf covering his face and dark trousers.
