Chiswick and Latymer keep in touch with the leaders in Division 2A of the Thames Valley League, with a draw against Kidmore End. Captain Clyde Scott led the way with a fine 130, supported by Wes Van den Berg (35) and Sunni Singh (38). With an impressive 294-9 on the board, Chiswick were looking to press for the 25 points. Despite good bowling from Kulli Bhatia (2-60) and Singh (3-61), Kidmore held out with 8 wickets down.

Chiswick and Latymer 2nd XI fell two runs short to Farnham Royal 2nd XI, despite a fighting knock of 55 not out by Simon Barnes. Farnham Royal set a total of 284-6, with debutant Josh Taylor picking up 2 wickets for Chiswick. Russell Bain (53) and Shibu Chacko (47) led the way for Chiswick, before Barnes almost brought a stunning win.

The 3rd XI pushed second place Slough hard before losing by 4 wickets, while the 4th XI had a boost in their title chase with a one wicket victory over leaders Datchet. The 5th XI went down to Marlow Park by one wicket despite Will Comery picking up 7-63

In the Fullers Sunday Old Boys league Chiswick lost by 40 runs to Old Tiffinians despite a superb innings of 99 by skipper Matti Watton.
